Christos Barlias, as born in Agios Vasilios, Korinthia. He is a farmer and he has been the President of the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Korinthia since 2000. He is actively involved in the cooperative movement, having been elected to the Board of PASEGES three times in total, and served as vice president of ELOGAK (Hellenic Milk and Meat Organisation).

He is the Vice President of GAIA EPICHEIREIN and a member of the Board of SASOEE (Greek Association of Agricultural Cooperatives and Enterprises).
